Overview
After about a year I've finally got around to remastering my Enhanced Citizens v3 model pack, and it's pretty fucking good now. This is built upon Lt_C's Enhanced Citizens Redux, but it features many things I found lacking about it. All of the bodygroups are the same between male and female models, all models have a glasses bodygroup, and they're fully playermodel compatible. These models also use some fancy hands that I got from the GMod playermodel hands, and have updated flexes that I got from Bloocobalt (I think)

File System
I've designed the files to make for easy editing and compilation, all of the main model qc files are in the root directory, and they use $include, $pushd, and $popd to make it easy to edit all of them at once. base_male and base_female contain all of the smd files that are used for bodygroups, and also contains subfolders for model-specific bodygroups such as beanies and glasses. The torso and legs are shared across all of the files, making it easy to make modifications.

F.A.Q.

Are these NPCs?
No, these are playermodels and ragdolls.

Do they override the normal HL2 models?
No, they are entirely seperate models and textures.

I'm confused about the difference between Enhanced Citizens and Extended Citizens! Help me!
Enhanced Citizens v4 is the 'base' model pack, it includes Half-Life themed bodygroups for the citizens. Extended Citizens v4 is a pack based on Enhanced Citizens, but it includes clothing not necessarily from Half-Life. Extended Citizens does not override Enhanced Citizens, but Enhanced Citizens is required for Extended Citizens to work, as it includes all of the base materials. Installing Extended citizens will add more playermodels to the playermodel selection screen, which may look identical at first, but if you hover over the icon you will see they have the ECX prefix instead of EC. If you are a server operator you'll want to use the (fe)male_**_extended.mdl models if you want the extra clothing. If you have any other concerns about this just leave a comment.

I really like this mod, thanks for posting it, although there is a bug I've found. For some reason some of the mouth textures are off. When I try to open a ragdolls mouth it sort of stretches the lip skin instead of opening.

Can someone help me? When I try to open the mouth of ANY model and only drops the bottom lip like half of it and the top teeth are going through the upper lip and it's all retarded......in other words I can't even open their mouths properly

While I do love the variety of bodygroups and overall higher-resolution rebels, the models are stiff as fuck in comparision to, for example, Enhanced Citizens v2. I can barely turn their hands around to make hold something properly, so I was forced to use v2 for it.

Face flexes are broken for the males it looks like. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing it but it's pretty bad. You try to open their mouths and the skin texture for the lips just stretch and cover the mouth like some sort of twisted skin mask.

@zelpa you should start from scratch the face posing is messed up, the bones are stiff, they can't hold some stuff properly with bone merger, It just needs to be fixed.

oh those aren't missing facemaps, those are messed up flexes. No fix for that really, would have to remake them from scratch, which isn't a project I want to undertake.

They work fine for me in gmod, its only sfm in which they are broken

@Ryan, Yeah I gotta look into malee_09's flexes, something's pretty wacky about them. Will hopefully be fixed in the next update.

@Zaku II, The problem with the eyes is that they reference a material folder called engine, which multiple addons may override. I'll probably move it over to something like zelpa_engine so that it doesn't get written to by other addons.
